It always feels good to work on something that actually does some good. I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with several non-profits to help bring awareness to big issues and help with donation dollars.
@DailyGunDeaths
Mass shootings in America capture the attention of the world, but the conversations quickly fade. Meanwhile, shootings continue to happen. To highlight this issue, our small team created a dynamic video generator that takes daily gun death statistics and combines them with Street View to show the actual locations where people were shot and killed. @DailyGunDeaths ran for two years and was liked, retweeted, and followed by thousands.
Help SF Homeless
This campaign for ECS San Francisco included a microsite, online videos, and a guerrilla campaign to bring some much-needed awareness to an organization trying to give homes to the homeless.
LGBTQ+ Blood Donations
This project was created to draw attention to the discriminatory and unscientific restrictions the FDA places on members of the LGBTQ+ community. We made posters and social posts that we launched on World Blood Donor Day. Our site received great traction from the public and was featured in Adweek.
